Description

This Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bake is a creamy, cheesy, and flavorful dish that’s perfect for an easy weeknight dinner. Made with tender chicken breasts coated in a rich garlic Parmesan sauce, this baked dish pairs wonderfully with pasta, rice, or roasted veggies.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter option)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (optional, for a crispy topping)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prepare the Chicken

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

Step 2: Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  1. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice until well combined.

Step 3: Assemble & Bake

  1. Spread the garlic Parmesan mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
  2. If using, sprinkle panko breadcrumbs on top for extra crispiness.
  3. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Step 4: Garnish & Serve

  1. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes, then sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  2. Serve warm with pasta, rice, or roasted vegetables.

Notes

  • Make It Crispier: Broil for the last 2–3 minutes for a golden brown top.
  • Low-Carb Option: Skip the breadcrumbs and serve with steamed veggies.
  • Extra Flavor: Add red pepper flakes for a bit of spice.
  • Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
