- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional, for extra umami)
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Noodles:
- Boil noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with 1 teaspoon oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.
- Sear the Steak:
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced steak, season with salt, pepper, and soy sauce, and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 1 minute.
- Toss Everything Together:
- Add the cooked noodles and steak back to the pan. Toss to coat everything in the garlic butter sauce.
- Squeeze in fresh lime juice and give it a final stir.
- Serve & Garnish:
