Description

Garlic Butter Salmon is a quick and flavorful dish featuring tender salmon fillets seared to perfection and topped with a rich garlic butter sauce for a simple yet elegant meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add salmon fillets, skin-side down if applicable, and sear for 4–5 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter.
  5. Once melted, stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Add lemon juice and zest, then return salmon to the skillet and spoon sauce over the fillets.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Use skin-on salmon for extra flavor and crispiness.
  • Pairs well with rice, potatoes, or steamed vegetables.
  • Do not overcook the salmon; it should flake easily with a fork.
