- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add salmon fillets, skin-side down if applicable, and sear for 4–5 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter.
- Once melted, stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice and zest, then return salmon to the skillet and spoon sauce over the fillets.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

- Use skin-on salmon for extra flavor and crispiness.
- Pairs well with rice, potatoes, or steamed vegetables.
- Do not overcook the salmon; it should flake easily with a fork.
