1 (8-count) can refrigerated crescent roll dough- 4 mozzarella string cheese sticks, cut in half
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley (fresh or dried)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.- Prepare garlic butter – In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
- Assemble the rolls – Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place a piece of mozzarella at the wide end of each triangle and roll up tightly, tucking in the sides slightly to prevent cheese from leaking.
- Brush with garlic butter – Arrange rolls on the baking sheet and brush each one generously with garlic butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve & enjoy – Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with marinara sauce for dipping!
