- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or French bread dough
- 1/2 lb ground beef or Italian sausage, cooked and drained
- 1/2 cup diced pepperoni
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- In a bowl, mix together the cooked meat, pepperoni, cheeses, onions, peppers, olives, and seasonings.
- Spread the filling evenly down the center of the dough.
- Fold in the sides and roll up like a log, pinching edges to seal.
- Place seam-side down on the baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
