Description

These Fudgy Peanut Butter Brownies are ultra-rich, gooey, and have a delicious swirl of creamy peanut butter throughout. Perfect for peanut butter and chocolate lovers, these brownies are an indulgent treat that’s easy to make and impossible to resist!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup (230g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups (300g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (85g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup (180g) creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  • Make the Brownie Batter:

    • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
    • Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
    • Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix for maximum fudginess.
  • Add the Peanut Butter Swirl:

    • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly.
    • Warm the peanut butter slightly in the microwave (about 15-20 seconds) to make it easier to drizzle.
    • Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter over the brownie batter and use a knife to swirl it through the batter for a marbled effect.
  • Bake:

    • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Do not overbake to keep them fudgy.
  • Cool and Serve:

    • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment overhang. Slice into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Add chocolate chips: Fold 1/2 cup chocolate chips into the batter for extra gooey chocolate.
  • Crunchy peanut butter: Use crunchy peanut butter for a bit of texture.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
