Description

These rich and fudgy brownies are swirled with a creamy fudge ripple that melts into every bite. They’re the perfect mix of chewy edges and gooey centers — a chocolate lover’s dream!

Ingredients

For the Brownie Batter:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter

  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

For the Fudge Ripple:

  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.

  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

  3. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Mix until just combined.

  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

  5. In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk and butter over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

  6. Drop spoonfuls of the fudge mixture over the brownie batter. Use a knife to gently swirl it into the batter.

  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  8. Cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake them and chill for an hour before slicing. You can also top with chopped nuts or a sprinkle of sea salt.
