- 1 ounce fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
- 2 ounces white rum
- Sparkling water or club soda, to top
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker or large glass, muddle the watermelon cubes with mint leaves and sugar until juicy and fragrant.
- Add lime juice and rum. Fill the shaker or glass with ice and shake or stir well to combine.
- Strain into a glass filled with ice (or pour directly for a more rustic texture).
- Top with sparkling water or club soda to taste and gently stir.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and a small wedge of watermelon or lime. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit rum and add more sparkling water.
- You can blend and strain the watermelon beforehand for a smoother drink.
