  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (for crunch)
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries (for a festive touch)
  • 2 tbsp crumbled feta or goat cheese (for extra creaminess)
  • 4 slices crispy bacon, crumbled (because bacon makes everything better!)

Instructions

  2. Spread them in a single layer on the baking sheet, cut side down for maximum caramelization.

Step 3: Roast

  1. Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
  2. (Optional) In the last 5 minutes, sprinkle with nuts or bacon for extra texture.

Step 4: Serve & Enjoy

  1. Remove from the oven and toss with cranberries or cheese (if using).
  2. Serve warm and enjoy!
