Description

This Easy Homemade Garlic Bread Spread is a rich and flavorful blend of butter, garlic, herbs, and Parmesan cheese—perfect for slathering on bread and baking to golden, garlicky perfection.


Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, garlic, Parmesan, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until well blended.
  2. Spread generously over halved baguette, French bread, or sandwich rolls.
  3. Place under a broiler for 2–4 minutes until golden and bubbly, or bake at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes.
