- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, garlic, Parmesan, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until well blended.
- Spread generously over halved baguette, French bread, or sandwich rolls.
- Place under a broiler for 2–4 minutes until golden and bubbly, or bake at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes.
- Slice and serve warm as a side to pasta, soups, or salads.
