Description

Easy Garlic Bread is a quick and delicious side dish made with crusty bread, butter, fresh garlic, and herbs. It’s the perfect accompaniment to pasta, soups, or salads.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 loaf French or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the loaf in half lengthwise.
  3. In a bowl, mix together butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
  5. Optional: sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the buttered bread for extra flavor.
  6. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden and crispy on the edges.
  8. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a crispier texture, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes after baking.
  • Use garlic powder instead of fresh garlic for a milder flavor.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or air fryer to retain crispiness.
