Description

Ingredients

  • 1 (25 oz) bag frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Spread 1/2 cup of the sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.
  4. Top with half of the remaining sauce, 1 cup mozzarella, and 1/4 cup Parmesan.
  5. Repeat with remaining ravioli, sauce, and cheeses.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh herbs and serve.

Notes

  • No need to thaw the frozen ravioli—just layer and bake.
  • Add cooked ground beef or Italian sausage for a heartier dish.
  • Use a blend of cheeses like provolone or fontina for extra richness.
