An easy, family-friendly baked ravioli recipe layered with marinara sauce and plenty of gooey melted cheese, perfect for a quick and comforting weeknight dinner.

- 1 (25 oz) bag frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spread 1/2 cup of the sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.
- Top with half of the remaining sauce, 1 cup mozzarella, and 1/4 cup Parmesan.
- Repeat with remaining ravioli, sauce, and cheeses.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
Notes
- No need to thaw the frozen ravioli—just layer and bake.
- Add cooked ground beef or Italian sausage for a heartier dish.
- Use a blend of cheeses like provolone or fontina for extra richness.
