Description

This Dill Pickle Chex Mix combines the tangy, savory flavors of dill pickles with a crunchy mix of Chex cereal, pretzels, and bagel chips. It’s a perfect snack for pickle lovers, whether for parties or just to enjoy a unique twist on classic Chex Mix.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 2 cups pretzel twists or sticks
  • 2 cups bagel chips or rye chips
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons dried dill weed
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Prepare the Mix:

    • Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex cereal, pretzels, and bagel chips.
  • Make the Seasoning:

    • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, ranch seasoning mix, dried dill weed, dill pickle juice, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Coat the Mix:

    • Pour the seasoning mixture over the Chex Mix, tossing gently until everything is evenly coated.
  • Bake:

    • Spread the mixture onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even baking.
  • Cool and Serve:

    • Allow the Chex Mix to cool completely on the baking sheet. Once cool, transfer to an airtight container for storage.

Notes

  • Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
  • Variations: Add pickle-flavored seasoning powder or extra dill for a bolder flavor.
