Description

This Dark Chocolate Trail Mix is a deliciously healthy snack combining crunchy nuts, tangy dried fruits, and rich dark chocolate. Ideal for on-the-go energy or a quick treat, this mix is no-bake, easy to assemble, and perfect for satisfying your sweet and salty cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds (lightly roasted if desired)

  • 1 cup raw cashews

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds

  • 1 cup dried cranberries

  • 1/2 cup dried cherries

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chunks or chips (70% cocoa or higher)

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes (optional)

  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, dried cherries, and coconut flakes (if using).

  2. Gently fold in the dark chocolate chunks or chips.

  3. Sprinkle with sea salt and toss lightly to distribute evenly.

  4. Transfer the mix to an airtight container.

  5. Enjoy immediately or store at room temperature for up to 2 weeks for a quick, energizing snack.
