- 4 cups mixed salad greens
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup cucumber, sliced
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta or shredded cheddar (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or almonds (optional)
- For Hot Honey:
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- For Dressing:
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, red pepper flakes, and apple cider vinegar. Warm over low heat for 2–3 minutes, then set aside to cool.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise (or yogurt), lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
- In a large salad bowl, layer salad greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, carrots, and nuts or cheese if using.
- Add the crispy chicken pieces on top.
- Drizzle with the prepared dressing and a generous spoonful of hot honey.
- Toss lightly to combine or serve as layered for presentation.

- Use store-bought or homemade crispy chicken depending on your preference.
- Adjust spice level by changing the amount of red pepper flakes in the hot honey.
