- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 1/2 lbs baby potatoes, halved
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced kielbasa and brown slightly, about 2β3 minutes. This step is optional but adds flavor.
- Place green beans, potatoes, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker.
- Add the kielbasa on top, then pour in the chicken broth and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Cover and cook on low for 6β7 hours or on high for 3β4 hours, until potatoes and green beans are tender.
