Description

  • 1 lb kielbasa, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 1/2 lbs baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced kielbasa and brown slightly, about 2–3 minutes. This step is optional but adds flavor.
  2. Place green beans, potatoes, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker.
  3. Add the kielbasa on top, then pour in the chicken broth and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until potatoes and green beans are tender.
