- 2 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions
1. Prepare the Ingredients:
- Wash and trim the green beans, cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces, and dice the ham.
2. Assemble in the Crockpot:
- Add the green beans, potatoes, ham, onion, and garlic to the crockpot.
- Pour the chicken broth over the ingredients.
- Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Stir gently to combine.
3. Cook:
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the potatoes are tender and the flavors are well combined.
4. Taste and Adjust:
- Taste and add salt if needed (the ham and chicken broth may already provide enough saltiness).
5. Serve:
- Garnish with chopped parsley or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, if desired. Serve warm as a main course or hearty side dish.
Notes
- Make It Smokier: Add a smoked ham hock or smoked sausage instead of diced ham for extra smoky flavor.
- Add Heat: For a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or on the stovetop.
