Description

Crockpot Chicken and Gravy is a comforting and easy slow-cooker meal made with tender chicken breasts simmered in a savory, creamy gravy. Serve it over mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits for a hearty dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (1 oz) packet chicken gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  5. Shred the chicken using two forks and stir it back into the gravy.
  6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Use cream of mushroom soup for a variation in flavor.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or biscuits.
  • Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
