- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix (such as cornbread or herb flavor)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of celery soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot and season with salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning.
- In a medium bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, chicken broth, and sour cream until well combined.
- Spread the soup mixture over the chicken.
- Sprinkle the stuffing mix evenly over the top, then dot with butter.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
- Shred the chicken in the crockpot and mix gently with the stuffing and sauce. Serve warm.
Notes
- Add frozen mixed vegetables or sautéed onions and celery for extra texture and flavor.
- Use rotisserie chicken and reduce cook time if desired.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
