- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs (optional for extra crunch)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- In a separate bowl, mix Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs (if using).
- Dip the cut side of each Brussels sprout into the cheese mixture and press gently to adhere.
- Place sprouts cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy on the bottom and tender inside.
- Remove from oven and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice or a drizzle of balsamic glaze before serving.
- Skip the breadcrumbs to keep it low carb and gluten-free.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture and taste.
