Description

Crispy Blackstone Hash Browns are golden and crunchy shredded potatoes cooked to perfection on a flat-top griddle, making them an ideal side for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 3 large russet potatoes, peeled and shredded
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Rinse shredded potatoes under cold water to remove excess starch. Drain and squeeze out as much water as possible using a clean towel.
  2. Preheat Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat.
  3. Mix shredded potatoes with salt and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Melt butter and vegetable oil on the griddle.
  5. Place potatoes in a thin, even layer on the griddle and press down lightly with a spatula.
  6. Cook undisturbed for 5-7 minutes, or until the bottom is golden and crispy.
  7. Flip carefully and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the other side is crispy and golden.
  8. Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh herbs or ketchup on the side.
