Instructions

- In a bowl, whisk together almond flour, sugar, salt, egg white, and almond extract until a sticky dough forms.
- Drop teaspoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Flatten each cookie slightly and top with a few sliced almonds if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
