- 8 oz halloumi cheese, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices or sticks
- 1 tbsp olive oil (or spray oil)
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp honey (for drizzling)
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Halloumi
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat halloumi slices dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- In a bowl, toss the halloumi with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Step 2: Air Fry the Halloumi
- Arrange the halloumi slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
Step 3: Drizzle & Serve
- Transfer the crispy halloumi to a plate and drizzle with honey and lemon juice (if using).
- Garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes.
- Serve immediately and enjoy on its own or with pita bread, hummus, or a fresh salad!

- Extra Crispy: For a crunchier texture, coat halloumi lightly in panko breadcrumbs before air frying.
