- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (or a mix of oregano, thyme, and basil)
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Steak Bites
- Pat the steak dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak cubes in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
- Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
Step 2: Make the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Pour in broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Let simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
Step 3: Combine & Serve
- Return steak bites to the skillet and toss in the sauce.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes, just to warm the steak through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or basil, then serve immediately.
