Instructions
- Toast the pecans:
- Preheat a dry skillet over medium heat. Add the pecans and toast for 3–5 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant and lightly browned. Let cool, then chop finely.
- Prepare the butter mixture:
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with a hand mixer or whisk until light and fluffy.
- Add the sweeteners:
- Add the brown sugar, honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon (if using) to the butter. Beat until well combined.
- Incorporate the pecans:
- Fold in the toasted pecans with a spatula until evenly distributed throughout the butter mixture.
- Chill or serve:
- Transfer the honey butter to a jar or serving dish. If you prefer a firmer texture, refrigerate for 20–30 minutes before serving.
