  • 8 oz (225 g) penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (100 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, then stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Reduce heat to low and mix in Parmesan cheese, stirring until sauce thickens.
