- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook sausage until browned and cooked through. Break into crumbles and remove excess grease if needed.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let simmer for 4-5 minutes to slightly reduce.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
- Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with sauce.
