Description

This Creamy Grape Salad is a refreshing and sweet dish made with juicy grapes, a creamy dressing, and a crunchy topping of brown sugar and nuts. Perfect as a side dish, dessert, or potluck favorite, this easy recipe is always a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 lbs seedless green grapes
  • 2 lbs seedless red grapes
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Topping:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Grapes:
    • Wash and dry the grapes thoroughly. Remove them from the stems and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Make the Dressing:
    • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Combine:
    • Pour the dressing over the grapes and gently toss until the grapes are evenly coated.
  4. Add Topping:
    • Sprinkle the brown sugar and chopped nuts over the top of the salad.
  5. Chill and Serve:
    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream or use reduced-fat cream cheese.
  • Add other fruits like sliced strawberries or blueberries for variety.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
