- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or a mix of oregano, thyme, and basil)
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- 1 tbsp butter (for extra richness)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Pork Chops
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.
- Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Step 2: Sear the Pork Chops
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
- Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
Step 4: Finish the Dish
- Return the pork chops to the skillet, nestling them into the sauce.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temp of 145°F (63°C).
- Stir in butter for an extra silky texture.
Step 5: Serve & Enjoy
- Garnish with fresh parsley or basil.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted veggies!
Serving Suggestions
- With Mashed Potatoes: Creamy potatoes are perfect for soaking up the sauce.
- With Pasta: Toss with fettuccine or penne for a delicious meal.

Notes
- Want it extra creamy? Add ¼ cup cream cheese to the sauce.
- Prefer a tangy kick? Stir in 1 tsp Dijon mustard.
- More flavor? Add mushrooms or sun-dried tomatoes to the sauce.
- Dairy-free? Use coconut milk and nutritional yeast instead of cream and Parmesan.
