- 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the bruschetta topping:
- 1 1/2 cups (300 g) diced tomatoes (Roma or cherry tomatoes work best)
- 1/4 cup (10 g) fresh basil, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For garnish and serving:
- 1/4 cup (25 g) shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Toasted baguette slices, crackers, or fresh veggies
Instructions
- Prepare the creamy base:
- In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, and salt until smooth and well combined. Spread the mixture evenly onto a serving platter or into a shallow dish.
- Make the bruschetta topping:
- In another bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, basil, minced garlic, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let the mixture sit for 10–15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Assemble the dip:
- Spoon the bruschetta topping evenly over the creamy base. Sprinkle with shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired.
- Serve:
- Serve immediately with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or fresh veggies for dipping.
