- 12 Hawaiian rolls or slider buns
- 1 lb cooked turkey, sliced or shredded
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 6 slices of Swiss or provolone cheese, halved
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds (optional)
- 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Rolls:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected if possible, and place the bottom half in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the cut side of each roll.
- Assemble the Sliders:
- Layer the sliced turkey evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
- Spread the cranberry sauce over the turkey, then add the cheese slices on top.
- Add the Top Layer:
- Place the top half of the rolls over the fillings.
- Prepare the Butter Mixture:
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Brush this mixture generously over the top of the rolls to coat.
- Bake:
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven, slice the sliders, and serve warm.

- Cheese Choices: Swiss or provolone work well, but cheddar or gouda can add a different twist.
- Herbs: Fresh rosemary or thyme sprinkled on top adds a nice aromatic touch.
