- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (3 oz) package strawberry Jell-O
- 2/3 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- Optional: additional whipped topping and strawberries for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until evenly moistened.
- Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 8–10 minutes or until lightly golden. Let cool completely.
- In a large bowl, dissolve strawberry Jell-O in boiling water. Stir in cold water and ice cubes until slightly thickened. Remove any remaining ice.
- Fold in whipped topping until smooth and well combined.
- Stir in sliced strawberries, then pour the filling into the cooled crust.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
- Before serving, garnish with additional whipped topping and fresh strawberries if desired.
Notes
- Make sure the crust is completely cool before adding the filling to prevent melting.
- Use ripe, fresh strawberries for best flavor and presentation.
- This pie can be made a day in advance and kept refrigerated until ready to serve.
