Description

Cookie Dough Bites are a fun, bite-sized treat made with edible, egg-free cookie dough that’s safe to eat raw. Coated in chocolate or enjoyed as-is, they’re perfect for snacking, gifting, or satisfying a sweet tooth.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or candy melts (optional, for coating)

Instructions

  1. To heat-treat the flour, microwave it for 1 minute or bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes to kill any bacteria. Let cool.
  2. In a bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in milk and vanilla until combined.
  4. Add heat-treated flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
  6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray. Chill for 15–30 minutes.
  7. If coating, melt chocolate chips or candy melts and dip each ball, letting excess drip off. Place back on tray and chill until set.

Notes

  • Use dairy-free butter and milk for a vegan version.
  • Store in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
  • Try using white chocolate chips or mix-ins like sprinkles or peanut butter chips.
