Description

This low-carb Cloud Bread Pizza is light, fluffy, and customizable with your favorite toppings. It’s perfect for a quick snack or a healthier pizza night option.

Ingredients

Units Scale
For the Cloud Bread Base:
  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese (softened) or Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for flavor)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
For the Toppings:
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup (50g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Toppings of choice (pepperoni, sliced vegetables, cooked chicken, etc.)

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
2. Prepare the Cloud Bread Batter:
  1. In a clean bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the egg yolks, cream cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  3. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the yolk mixture in thirds, being careful not to deflate the batter.
3. Shape and Bake the Cloud Bread Base:
  1. Spoon the cloud bread batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it into a pizza shape (about 1/4-inch thick).
  2. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the base is golden brown and set.
4. Add the Toppings:
  1. Remove the base from the oven and spread the pizza sauce evenly over the top.
  2. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and add your desired toppings.
5. Bake Again:
  • Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 5–7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Serve:
  • Let the pizza cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Cloud bread is naturally gluten-free and low-carb, making it keto-friendly.
  • For extra crispiness, bake the base for an additional 2–3 minutes before adding toppings.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
