Description

This Cinnamon-Sugar Pizza made with Crescent Rolls is an easy, sweet treat with a flaky crescent roll crust topped with buttery cinnamon-sugar goodness. Finished with a drizzle of cream cheese icing, it’s perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert!

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Pizza:

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

For the Cream Cheese Icing (optional):

  • 2 oz (60g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a pizza pan or baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Crescent Roll Crust:

    • Unroll the crescent roll dough onto the prepared baking sheet, pressing the seams together to form a large rectangle or round pizza shape.
  • Add the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:

    • Brush the melted butter evenly over the crescent roll dough.
    • In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
  • Bake:

    • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Make the Cream Cheese Icing (Optional):

    • In a small bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add more milk as needed to reach your desired consistency.
  • Finish and Serve:

    • Drizzle the cream cheese icing over the warm cinnamon-sugar pizza.
    • Slice and serve warm for the best flavor.

Notes

  • Add toppings: Sprinkle chopped nuts, raisins, or chocolate chips over the cinnamon-sugar topping for extra flavor.
  • Make it crispier: For a slightly crispier crust, bake for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
