This cinnamon-sugar dessert pizza is a sweet and buttery treat with a crispy crust, cinnamon-sugar topping, and a drizzle of vanilla glaze. Perfect for sharing or as a fun twist on dessert, it’s quick to make and totally irresistible!

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 pre-made pizza dough (or 1 ball of homemade pizza dough)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the Vanilla Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk (adjust for desired consistency)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Crust:
    • Roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle or desired shape. Transfer it to the prepared baking sheet or pizza pan.
    • Brush the dough with the melted butter.
  3. Make the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:
    • In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg (if using).
    • Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the buttered pizza dough. Drizzle the remaining melted butter on top.
  4. Bake the Pizza:
    • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the topping is bubbly. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  5. Prepare the Vanilla Glaze:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add more milk if needed to achieve a drizzling consistency.
  6. Assemble the Dessert Pizza:
    • Drizzle the glaze over the warm pizza in a zigzag pattern or in circles. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add toppings like mini chocolate chips, crushed nuts, or fresh fruit for variety.
  • Use store-bought flatbreads or tortillas for an even quicker version.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
