Description

Cinnamon Roll Overnight Oats are a wholesome and indulgent breakfast option that combines the flavors of a cinnamon roll with the ease of make-ahead oats.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or non-dairy yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese (optional, for swirl)
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar (optional, for swirl)
  • 12 tablespoons milk (to thin swirl mixture)

Instructions

  1. In a jar or container, combine oats, milk, yogurt, chia seeds, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth to create the cinnamon roll swirl (optional).
  3. Top the oat mixture with the swirl or layer it between oat layers if preferred.
  4. Seal the container and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
  5. In the morning, stir and enjoy cold, or warm in the microwave if desired. Top with extra cinnamon or a drizzle of maple syrup if you like.

Notes

  • Use certified gluten-free oats if needed.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste with more or less maple syrup.
  • Add chopped nuts or raisins for extra texture and flavor.
