Ingredients

Units Scale

  • Fudge Base:
    • 2 3/4 cups (550g) granulated sugar
    • 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter
    • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
    • Pinch of kosher salt
    • 3 cups (525g) white chocolate chips
    • 1 jar (7 oz/198g) marshmallow cream
    • 1/4 cup (50g) cinnamon sugar mix
  • Cinnamon Swirl:
    • 1 cup (170g) cinnamon baking chips
  • Maple Drizzle (Optional):
    • 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
    • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
    • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar mix

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cinnamon Swirl:
    • Place the cinnamon baking chips in a heat-safe bowl over a pot of simmering water, ensuring the bowl doesn’t touch the water.
    • Stir until the chips are melted and smooth.
    • Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Make the Fudge Base:
    • Line a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish with parchment paper.
    • In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the granulated sugar, unsalted butter, heavy cream, pinch of salt, and ¼ cup of cinnamon sugar mix.
    • Stir continuously until the mixture reaches a rolling boil.
    • Once boiling, continue to stir and cook for 4 minutes.
    • Remove from heat and quickly stir in the white chocolate chips and marshmallow cream until the mixture is smooth and all components are fully melted and combined.
  • Assemble the Fudge:
    • Pour half of the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
    • Drizzle half of the melted cinnamon chips over this layer.
    • Pour the remaining fudge mixture on top, followed by the rest of the melted cinnamon chips.
    • Use a knife to gently swirl the layers, creating a marbled effect.
  • Set the Fudge:
    • Refrigerate the fudge for at least 3 hours, or until fully set.
  • Optional Maple Drizzle:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, maple syrup, heavy cream, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon sugar mix until smooth.
    • Drizzle this mixture over the set fudge.
    • Allow the drizzle to harden before cutting the fudge into squares.

Notes

  • Storage: Store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
  • Variations: For added texture, consider folding in chopped nuts, such as pecans or walnuts, into the fudge base before pouring it into the baking dish.
  • Serving Suggestion: This fudge makes for a delightful homemade gift during the holiday season or a sweet addition to any dessert platter.
