Ingredients

Units Scale

Base Ingredients:

  • 2 cups mini pretzels (or pretzel rods)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (or white candy melts)
  • 1 cup milk or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smooth melting)

Festive Toppings:

  • Red & green sprinkles
  • Crushed candy canes
  • Mini M&Ms
  • Holiday-themed sugar pearls
  • Drizzled caramel or extra chocolate

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate:

    • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with ½ teaspoon coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
    • Repeat the process with the milk or dark chocolate.
  2. Dip the pretzels:

    • Using tongs or a fork, dip each pretzel (or pretzel rod) into the melted chocolate.
    • Let excess chocolate drip off before placing it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Decorate:

    • While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with festive toppings like crushed candy canes, sprinkles, or mini M&Ms.
    • For a drizzle effect, use a spoon to drizzle contrasting chocolate over the dipped pretzels.
  4. Let them set:

    • Allow pretzels to harden at room temperature for 30 minutes or chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  5. Serve & enjoy!

    • Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • Peppermint Twist: Stir a few drops of peppermint extract into the white chocolate.
  • Caramel Version: Drizzle pretzels with melted caramel before adding chocolate.
  • Make-Ahead: These are great for holiday gift bags—just store them in festive tins!
