- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 box white or yellow cake mix
- 1/4 cup holiday sprinkles (plus extra for rolling)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for coating)

- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined. Gradually add the cake mix, blending well.
- Fold in 1/4 cup of holiday sprinkles. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results
