- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- For the chocolate addition:
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) chocolate syrup
- 1/4 cup (20 g) cocoa powder, sifted
- For serving:
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Chocolate shavings, crushed candy canes, or sprinkles for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the coffee base:
- In a large bowl or pitcher, mix the brewed coffee, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon (if using) until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Add the chocolate:
- Stir in the chocolate syrup and sifted cocoa powder. Whisk well to ensure the cocoa powder is evenly mixed.
- Chill or heat:
- For a chilled punch: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
- For a warm punch: Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker or large saucepan and heat on low, stirring occasionally, until warm but not boiling.
- Serve:
- Ladle the punch into mugs or punch cups. Top with whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings, crushed candy canes, or sprinkles for a festive touch.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar, depending on your preference.
