Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats are a delicious twist on the classic no-bake snack! Made with crispy rice cereal, melted marshmallows, and rich chocolate, these bars are gooey, chewy, and perfect for chocolate lovers. Great for parties, lunchboxes, or a quick treat anytime!
Ingredients

6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt
Optional topping:

1/2 cup melted chocolate for drizzling or spreading on top

Sprinkles or mini marshmallows (for decoration)
Instructions

Melt the base:
In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add cocoa powder and stir until smooth.
Add marshmallows and stir constantly until completely melted and combined. Remove from heat. -
Add vanilla and mix:
Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Add the Rice Krispies cereal and chocolate chips. Mix until everything is well coated. -
Press into pan:
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch pan (or line with parchment).
Press the mixture into the pan evenly using a spatula or wax paper. -
Optional topping:
Drizzle or spread melted chocolate over the top. Add sprinkles if desired. -
Cool and cut:
Let set at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before slicing into squares.
Notes

For extra gooey bars, reduce cereal to 5 1/2 cups.

Want them richer? Use dark chocolate chips or add a swirl of Nutella.
