Description

These Chocolate Chip M&M’s Cookies are soft, chewy, and loaded with melty chocolate chips and crunchy candy-coated M&M’s. They’re fun, festive, and perfect for holidays, parties, or just when you’re craving a classic sweet treat with a colorful twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 cup M&M’s (plus extra for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

  • Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.

  • Fold in chocolate chips and M&M’s.

  • Scoop dough (about 2 tablespoons per cookie) onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart. Press a few extra M&M’s on top for a bakery-style look.

  • Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden and centers are still soft.

  • Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Don’t overbake! Cookies will set as they cool.

  • Swap in seasonal M&M’s for a holiday version.

  • Dough can be chilled for thicker cookies or frozen for later.
