- For the Chocolate Base:
- 12 oz (340 g) semi-sweet or milk chocolate, melted
- 1 cup crispy rice cereal (optional, for a crunchy base)
- For the Toppings:
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup M&M’s or other colorful candies
- 1/4 cup crushed pretzels
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (e.g., almonds, peanuts, or pecans)
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
- 1/4 cup caramel or peanut butter chips
- For Drizzling:
- 2 oz (60 g) white chocolate, melted
- 2 oz (60 g) dark or milk chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Prepare the Base:
- Line a round pizza pan or baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Make the Chocolate Base:
- If using rice cereal for a crunchy base, stir it into the melted chocolate until evenly combined.
- Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared pan and spread it into a circle about 1/4 inch thick. Smooth the surface with a spatula.
- Add the Toppings:
- While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle the mini marshmallows, M&M’s, pretzels, nuts, coconut, and caramel or peanut butter chips evenly over the top. Gently press the toppings into the chocolate to ensure they stick.
- Drizzle with Chocolate:
- Use a spoon or piping bag to drizzle the melted white chocolate and dark chocolate over the toppings for a decorative touch.
- Set the Pizza:
- Refrigerate or let the chocolate pizza sit at room temperature until fully hardened, about 1-2 hours.
- Serve:
- Once set, remove the chocolate pizza from the pan and cut it into slices like a traditional pizza.
Notes
- Customize the toppings with your favorite candies, dried fruits, or cookies.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- For a holiday twist, use themed candies like red and green M&M’s or candy canes.
