Description

This Chocolate Candy Pizza is a sweet twist on the classic pizza, featuring a rich chocolate base topped with an assortment of colorful candies and drizzled with more chocolate. Perfect for parties, gifts, or a fun family treat!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • For the Chocolate Base:
    • 12 oz (340 g) semi-sweet or milk chocolate, melted
    • 1 cup crispy rice cereal (optional, for a crunchy base)
  • For the Toppings:
    • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
    • 1/2 cup M&M’s or other colorful candies
    • 1/4 cup crushed pretzels
    • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (e.g., almonds, peanuts, or pecans)
    • 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
    • 1/4 cup caramel or peanut butter chips
  • For Drizzling:
    • 2 oz (60 g) white chocolate, melted
    • 2 oz (60 g) dark or milk chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base:
    • Line a round pizza pan or baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Make the Chocolate Base:
    • If using rice cereal for a crunchy base, stir it into the melted chocolate until evenly combined.
    • Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared pan and spread it into a circle about 1/4 inch thick. Smooth the surface with a spatula.
  3. Add the Toppings:
    • While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle the mini marshmallows, M&M’s, pretzels, nuts, coconut, and caramel or peanut butter chips evenly over the top. Gently press the toppings into the chocolate to ensure they stick.
  4. Drizzle with Chocolate:
    • Use a spoon or piping bag to drizzle the melted white chocolate and dark chocolate over the toppings for a decorative touch.
  5. Set the Pizza:
    • Refrigerate or let the chocolate pizza sit at room temperature until fully hardened, about 1-2 hours.
  6. Serve:
    • Once set, remove the chocolate pizza from the pan and cut it into slices like a traditional pizza.

Notes

  • Customize the toppings with your favorite candies, dried fruits, or cookies.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • For a holiday twist, use themed candies like red and green M&M’s or candy canes.
