- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken thighs in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure it is well coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably 4–8 hours, or overnight for maximum flavor.
- Remove chicken from marinade and cook using your preferred method (grill, bake, or pan-sear).
Notes
- Do not reuse marinade unless it’s boiled first to kill bacteria.
- Can be used for bone-in or boneless chicken thighs.
- Adjust salt if using low-sodium soy sauce.
