- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- Sour cream or salsa for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Cut chicken into small strips or bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Toss the chicken pieces in the spice mix until evenly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 6-8 minutes or until fully cooked and browned.
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
- Assemble tacos by placing chicken in tortillas and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cheese, and cilantro.
- Serve with lime wedges and optional sour cream or salsa.
