- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/4 cup salsa or enchilada sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small flour or corn tortillas
- Oil for frying or brushing (if baking)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cheese, salsa, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Warm the tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
- Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto the lower third of each tortilla and roll tightly.

- For frying: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry flautas seam-side down until golden brown, turning as needed (about 2-3 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels.

Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for quick prep.
- Corn tortillas give a more authentic flavor, but flour tortillas are easier to roll and fry.
- Can be frozen before or after cooking for future meals.
