Description

These Chicken Bacon Ranch Pinwheels are an easy, crowd-pleasing appetizer or snack. Made with tender chicken, crispy bacon, creamy ranch, and cheese, all rolled up in a tortilla, they’re perfect for parties, lunches, or quick bites!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • 1 cup cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Filling:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and ranch dressing until smooth and creamy.
  2. Stir in the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and green onions if using. Mix well.

2. Assemble the Pinwheels:

  1. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread half of the chicken mixture evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
  2. Roll the tortilla tightly into a log. Repeat with the second tortilla and the remaining filling.

3. Chill for Easy Slicing:

  1. Wrap each tortilla roll in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour. This helps them hold their shape and makes slicing easier.

4. Slice and Serve:

  1. Unwrap the chilled tortilla rolls and cut them into 1-inch slices.
  2. Arrange the pinwheels on a serving platter and serve immediately or keep chilled until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: These pinwheels can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator for a quick and easy appetizer.
  • Custom Add-Ins: Add diced bell peppers, spinach, or avocado for extra flavor and texture.
  • Dipping Sauce: Serve with extra ranch dressing or a spicy ranch dip for dipping.
