This classic Chex Mix is the perfect balance of salty, savory, and crunchy! Featuring three types of Chex cereal, pretzels, nuts, and a deliciously seasoned butter coating, this snack mix is ideal for parties, movie nights, or holiday gatherings.

  • 3 cups Corn Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Wheat Chex cereal
  • 1 cup pretzels
  • 1 cup bagel chips or rye chips, broken into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (or peanuts, almonds, or cashews)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 3/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
  • Combine the Dry Ingredients:

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex, Corn Chex, Wheat Chex, pretzels, bagel chips, and nuts.
  • Make the Seasoned Butter:

    • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  • Coat the Mix:

    • Pour the seasoned butter over the Chex mix, stirring gently to ensure everything is evenly coated.

    • Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even baking.
