  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prepare the Pan

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 2: Mix the Wet Ingredients

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  2. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.

Step 3: Add the Dry Ingredients

  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Gradually stir dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  3. Fold in butterscotch chips and optional mix-ins.
